Illini travel to Georgia on Saturday
After finishing final exams, the Illini head on the road to Duluth, Georgia to play the SEC Georgia Bulldogs. They already beat Vanderbilt, so can they go 2-0 against Southeastern Conference foes?
The Illini have shown great improvement since the Las Vegas Tournament. They have won four games in a row, including against two teams that were ranked in the Top 25 at the time (Clemson and Vanderbilt). Last Sunday they crushed Western Michigan by 35 points and now have an 8-2 record.
Last year the Illini scored 80 or more points in only two games, and the previous year in only one game. This year the Illini are averaging 80 points for their first ten games.
The game begins Saturday at 4:00 pm (san Diego time) and will be shown only on ESPNU.
