Illini Host the Iowa Squawkeyes in the Assembly Hall
Is the bad blood between these schools finally over? Maybe not for some old-timers who remember Illini NCAA sanctions because of Iowa Assistant Coach, Bruce Pearl.
The Illini have started at 9-5, but Iowa has started 5-9. Iowa has fallen on tough Basketball times, and is currently the worst team in the Big Ten Conference, a place normally reserved for Penn State or Northwestern. You are not likely to recognize any names on this year's roster.
The game begins Tuesday at 6:00 pm (san Diego time) and will be shown only on the Big Ten Network.
