Illini Travel to Penn State to play the Nittany Lions
The Illini barely beat Penn State 54-53. But the Nittany Lions are 0-7 in the big Ten Conference this season. The Illini are 4-3 in the conference and 12-8 overall. Making the NCAA Tournament is starting to look remote for the Illini.
The young Illini have shown streaks of brilliance among their sub-standard play. They need to improve in a hurry if they want to play late in March.
The game begins Wednesday at 3:30 pm (san Diego time) and will be shown only on the Big Ten Network.
