Illini Host the Michigan State Spartans
The Illini face the Spartans, ranked number 5 in the country. Michigan State is undefeated in the Big Ten (9-0) and has a 10 game winning streak. They lead every other Big Ten team by at least 3 games. UPDATE: Wisconsin beat the Spartans on Tuesday.
The Illini lost to the Spartans in East Lansing by ten points earlier this year. The Illini led by 6 points during the first half, but lost the lead shortly before halftime. Can the young Illini be more consistent in Assembly Hall?
The game begins Saturday at 6:00 pm (san Diego time) and will be shown on ESPN.
